Jenn [Beyond Words]
Photography is something that has grown to mean a lot to me, especially since starting my 365 project. I first became seriously interested about a year ago, when I started doing some small commercial and event work. From there I bought my first DSLR and began to collect lenses. I use self-portraiture to express a lot of personal emotion. It is, in a way, a visual diary for me. Photography is something I can honestly say I have fallen in love with. It has become a part of me.
I do not believe I have a defined style, but rather that my work is reflective of what inspires me the most at any given moment. I find most of my inspiration in writing and nature, especially through weather, seasons, and animals. My favorite times to shoot are rainy days, early mornings and just after sunset.
